let me start with, im upset at myself for not taking better pics of my man Cudi but they kept coming out crappy and after a while i just gave up and enjoyed the music. and plus i already have amazing pics i took of him in riverside. anyway sooo yesterday! im gonna skip the line part. just know we were there for about 6 hours in the cold and jen from real world denver was in front of us. she elbowed me a few times. bitch. ALSO, i saw that lil smiley girl from youtube haha!
okay so inside, at first i was not happy cuz we were like 7th row? ugh. you know me. i don’t do anything but the 1st row. and im 5’2 so it was a little hard to see. anyway. so we were standing there for a while and some girls were moving through so i got pushed like a row ahead. row 6 at this point. and amy and marcella were right behind me. then this tall ass gay got in front of us and i was pissed. i couldn’t see anything but his back wtf. ughh so somehow we were able to get in front of him and then he started getting catty! he was all saying shit to amy and of course amy said shit back and she definitely won the argument. whatever so he keeps whispering shit to his stupid friend but we’re like whatever we just want Cudi.
so the show started with semi precious whatevers that i don’t care about. i gotta give them props tho they started early. and they had a catchy line. “i can’t pay my rent but i’m fucking gorgeous”. even tho i dont know them or care about them iiii was being a courteous concert goer and nodding my head and moving you know. out of respect. but i was still counting down til their set was over so i could see my boo. i was expecting people to be pushing so i can move up but that rarely happened. i would say we were like around the 5th row by now.
after the semi precious thingies, we got hella excited. haha. so there were this group of like 4 gays in front of us. and two of them wanted to go buy drinks but they didnt wanna lose their spot or whatever so they turned around and go, “if we leave will you guys let us back in here?” and then Amy the genius was like “only if you let us in front of you for Cudi and then we’ll move back for Gaga” cuz theyre gay and dont care about Cudi so of course they said yes and we pinky promised with them. so they left and we moved up to like 4thish row or something. THANK YOU GAY GUYS WITH THE FEATHERS ON YOUR HEAD AND BIRDS ON YOUR SHOULDERS!!
k anyway, so Cudder started off with his version in “Already Home” with Jay Z. i was hella juiced!! thats an amazing part to start with!!!! and then he started with Soundtrack to my life. the whole time, me marcella and amy were hella singing and dancing and everyone else around us was just standing there doing nothing and getting hella annoyed by our Cudi enthusiasm but i didnt give a fuck. i was there for Cudi not Gaga! my favorite part of Cudi was definitely during Cudi Zone when he spotted us and sang my favorite line of the song in our direction. he definitely noticed us cuz we were the only crazy loud ones singing along in the middle. he was frkn amazing you dont even know. im always impressed by him. im sad he didn’t do maui wowie but whatever he did embrace the martian!!!! and up up and away!!! hes my favorite person i’ve seen live. Whenever he ends with Pursuit of Happiness, its always some epic ass shit where he becomes (as marcella said) kinda like jesus christ haha. i was without energy after his set. i really was. i love him. i cant even say it enough. i loooove him!!! i hope i get to see him tomrrow!!!
can i just say Gaga is a fuckin weirdo. not in a bad way. but not in a good way either. i dont know. shes just weird! but she put on a good show. her outfits werent too crazy but they were cool. oh yea, we kept our pinky promise and let the 2 guys back in front of us after cudi. but i got stuck behind this amazon woman so i couldnt see shit at the beginning of Gaga. so i know her songs and shit so i was dancing and singing along but let me just say, the San Francisco gays were DISAPPOINTING. they were hardly dancing. i mean, maybe cuz they were in awe and shit but come on! there was this guy who was hella crying during Speechless. it was HILARIOUS. he needed to be in the front. haha. you shoulda seen him. anyway, i think my favorite song she did was Boys Boys Boys. it was fun. Marcella somehow wiggled her way to 3rd row and i was right behind her. her hair was all up in mah face! haha. i didn’t leave the show being a big ass gaga fan or anything but i have a little more respect for her cuz i can tell she’s hellaaaa grateful for her fans and im down with that. she was coo.
overall, a good show but not the best i’ve been to. maybe because there wasn’t enough Cudi in my opinion but i had fun. glad one of my cudi buddies was there! =)
